Kart (KarthikPlayzYT, later Kartwastaken) is the friend group’s longest-running agent of chaos. prop’s casting for the Dream SMP-style lore called him “innocent and lethally dangerous … dangerous because he breaks everyone’s shit and usually is the cause of all the problems on the server” 1. Five years on, he is still around and still blamed first.
Season 1: first diamonds, first fires
Kart was early to everything. He found the first diamonds on the server, shouting “DIAMONDSSSSSSSSSSS” 2, and was first into the Nether, with a dream-style lava portal at -96 / 11 / 40 3. He lost those first diamonds anyway when the portal came out on a fortress 4. Hours later he confessed to an anvil dupe: “i duped like 3 or 4 diamonds using anvil dupe” 5, which became the Kart's Anvil-Dupe Confession and a standing reason for the ban on duping. His tamed axolotl “Mini Kart” claimed to be the first axolotl on the server 6. He also got full netherite without cheats on 2021-07-31, which he celebrated as “Netherite bros” 7.
His base was an underground hole, mocked by everyone and defended by him, a running joke that became its own legend: Kart's Hole. The chat suggests he later insisted it stay unrenovated because it held the server’s first Nether portal and first diamonds 8.
He never lacked a hustle. By autumn 2021 he had declared himself “the potion master of the server” 9, sold potions at a diamond each 10, and became the Perimeter crew’s netherite supplier, mining with beds and TNT and asking “2 diamodns per ingot i cant go lower than that its way to cheap” 11. He later boasted he was “bassically like the only person who goes netherite mining in the server” 12. The flip side was a talent for losing it all. He fell into the void, into lava, and into the lava ocean, so often that it earned its own entry, Kart Always Loses Everything 13. He jumped into the End void without elytra on the way to the enderman XP farm 14.
The feuds were as constant as the trades. He wrecked the Veteran Base with creeper holes and end crystals until prop set out to kill him over it 15, stole the Dragon Head Trophy and died in lava with it 16, and kicked off the 27 November war by breaking prop’s noteblock machine 17. He also had a soft side. He built a shrine to IRIS (the player also known as abishek and abi), made of netherite and obsidian with a chest of their stuff at its centre 18 19, and fixed prop’s snow farm 20.
Seasons 2 to Earth
In Season 2 he refused to move his base away from Saitama’s settlement, telling prop and nYx “tell akshay to move instead” 21. That became Kart's Base Crowding Dispute. He later built a cobblestone box beside nYx’s house, and moved only after prop set fire to the path leading to it 22. He found his first diamonds of the season on 2022-07-09 and died in full diamond armour the next day 23. On ASMP Earth, prop claimed Greenland and Iceland in his name before he even joined 24, and he promised “when i join a war will start” 25.
Limbo, Storm and Season 3
On Limbo he built an iron farm, running the fake player ironkart for AFK farming 26. Later, prop and abishek owed him “a stack of iron blocks” 27; see Kart's Iron Farm. During the Wither Storm by his own count he died five times 28 and served as the distraction that let DeathHack127 reach the Nether portal 29.
In Season 3 he returned as Kartwastaken and claimed a base at -972 97 315 30, found spawners and diamond veins 31 32, and settled under prop’s Cherry Village territory 33.
The Return
In the restored Season 1 world he is back in the old business. He asked “whens the next funeral” after abishek’s death 34, brewed fire resistance for abishek in exchange for an elytra 35, and got a house of his own, which prop announced as “bro has a house now” 36. His own welcome: “welcome to kart base” 37.
