The Return: Season 1 Restored

In October 2026 kira and prop revived the original Season 1 world from an almost five-year-old backup, with all player data recovered.

On 30 October 2026 kira pinged the OG members: “Remember the good old days of season 1? Axolotl is coming back. It will be like we never left”. 1

The next day prop announced that an old backup of the server “might have been found”, with all player data recovered, and that it would be the continuation point. 2 He also added a new entry to the server history, “The Branch Timeline”, a reply to the old Alternate Timeline entry. The timeline breaks again, the players are sent back to the point they continued from after “that 2b2t hack”, and everyone gets “a second chance at experiencing the peak of what minecraft used” to be. 3 (For the first Alternate Timeline, see The Alternate Timeline.)

That afternoon, after test messages through the new Discord bridge, the log said “Server started.” 4 Kira shared the join address, axolotl.pink, and noticed “damn it’s almost a 5 year old backup”. 5 6 Prop’s launch post declared that the original server had been “restored, upgraded, and is ready to play”, running Minecraft 26.3 on Fabric. It came with a modpack and a warning that some builds were lost to time. 7

The reaction in chat was simple. Kart wrote “We are back”, and then, on its own line, “Again”. 8 9

What came of it is the current world, The Return: Season 1 Restored, which is still being explored.
