On 2021-10-28, the day after The Fall, prop gathered the others in voice chat and asked if they wanted to see the damage. The world was too big for Aternos, so he had downloaded it and loaded it locally to give the group a tour 1.
The tour was a catalogue of heartbreak. Lava poured over the spawn and the village, TNT craters scarred the land, and prop showed screenshot after screenshot of buildings ruined by the intruders. The attackers had even turned IRIS’s base into full netherite: “they made abi’s building full netherite” 2.
The group worked out how it had been done. Kart was amazed by how much TNT the attackers had; prop explained that they had simply spawned it in creative with OP, “they just spawned em in” 3. They had logged in as prop and another whitelisted member, so the whitelist had meant nothing. Kart suggested banning the account called popbob (popbob) and installing a /login plugin 4, IRIS wanted a whitelist, and prop said kira had a plan.
For the griefing itself, see The Copenheimer Grief.
