Abi's Japanese House

In September 2021 abi began building a Japanese-style house near Veteran Base. Kart toured it while it was going up and captioned the screenshots “The Haunted Japanese House”, haunted by phantoms ¹. abi needed dark prismarine for the walls ², and got it from kira's Guardian Farm ³. He also built a Japanese wall around the compound, then worried it sat too close to the house and planned a moss or zen garden inside ⁴.

On 2021-09-30 kira called it the “best base on the server” ⁵. prop, paying for materials, later said that watching abi build it made him realise how few big builds the server had ⁶. The house’s yard also served as the arena for Abi vs Suresh: Dawn of Justice, a lava-bucket-and-invisibility duel ⁷.

Fate

The house did not last. After the 2021-10-27 grief, prop’s screenshots of the downloaded world showed that the griefers had turned abi’s building into full netherite ⁸, and BotFragx summed it up as “lmfao abi house” ⁹. See Aftermath of the 2021-10-27 Grief. After the wipe abi lamented “my house is gone” ¹⁰, yet by 24 November a Japanese house was standing again, and prop admitted his own looked like “shit compared to your japaneese house” ¹¹. In December, Kart’s shrine popped up right in front of it ¹².
