Terraformed Mountain Crater

On 12 October 2021 prop and Suresh, working with a haste 2 beacon, dug out an entire mountain near the Veteran Base to one uniform depth: “we dig entire mountain to that depth”. ¹ Prop declared it “the biggest space clearing done so far”, and noted “that was a chunk da”. ^{2 3} The stone fed the farms, and the space was needed for building.

Afterwards the crater was refilled with dirt so mobs would not spawn in the gaps, and prop joked “oof now it looks more realistic crater lmao”. ⁴ The before-and-after screenshot was missed.

The project did not survive the grief and the 20-day rollback (Aftermath of the 2021-10-27 Grief). On 7 November kira named it as the sort of build he would not restore, saying “prop will ask for his mountain to be gone then” and “what about prop’s mountain digging project”. ^{5 6}
