The 2b2t Griefers

On the night of 27 October 2021 a group of outsiders wrecked the server and signed themselves “popbob”. popbob announced itself in chat: “i’m popbob and you got griefed by poopbob”. ¹ prop gasped at “the infamous 2b2t (the oldest minecraft anarchy server) griefer popbob”. ²

They got in using other people’s accounts. Prop pointed to “the ips that logged in as abi”, and kira reported that “those griefers are from italy by IP address”. ^{3 4} Kira’s verdict was dismissive: “they can’t do shit. they are degenerate mc trolls not hackers”. ⁵

Prop’s video treated them as 2b2t hackers, and on 10 November he summed up the season: “the server fucking survived a 2b2t hacker group griefing the server”. ⁶
