Behind the Earth and Season 3 servers sat a control panel run by kira. The Earth server lived under Pterodactyl (“ptero”), where prop managed the build config and mods. In July 2023 he reported “ptero seems to be down”, kira answered “fixed”, and prop asked whether moving to 1.20 would be just a matter of changing the build config and updating the mods folder 1 2. Season 3 layout
On Season 3 the server ran in Docker on kira’s host. Extra servers shared the same smp address on other ports: prop named 25567 for the creative copy 3 4. The BlueMap lived at map.axolotl.pink, and prop once had to ask kira how to put things on it 5. (For the account side, see Offline Mode and the Whitelist Dance.)
From ptero to Pelican
The panel did not last. In November 2024 kira explained that ptero was “completey out” because it required the server to be reachable from the internet for its public-facing API 6. Moonlight replaced it, but prop found it lacked “the basic file management shit that ptero had” 7, and kira promised to add Pelican panel instead 8. Meanwhile the ASMP Chat bot kept relaying joins, advancements and “Server Started!” to Discord.
