The Veterans

The founding old-timers of Season 1, who kept the best gear, the backups and a "no newbies" rule at Veteran Base.

Faction ASMP S1 team

“Kira, grim and prop gathered together about 300 ish blocks away from spawn” 1 and called themselves the veterans 2, because they knew Minecraft and had played together on an earlier server. The club was kira’s: prop explained that it was for “ppl who are veterans to the game” 3 and that admission was “kira’s” to give 4. Kira enforced it with relish. Kart was told “you are not allowed inside veteran club I am sorry” 5, and newcomers learned to ask “another veteran?” 6.

The perks were real. The veterans had the best gear and shared a base (Veteran Base), a villager hall and most of the early farms 7. They also held the backups and admin access: “we are the only ones with access to backups and admin” 8. In July 2021 they took down the dragon together 9 and declared a mock war on the Monkes 10. A veteran banner was proposed 11.

Once Grim left, the club shrank to kira and prop, who built the trading hall and the farms 12. By January 2022 prop was announcing “no more veterans” for the next season, while kira planned a new group 13.

In 2026 prop still remembered it: “we called ourselves the veterans / and technical players”. Kira’s reply was “veterans yes, technical no” 14.
