Raid on the plains village

prop bridged the Nether to a plains village, and the group looted it for emeralds, beds and hay and hauled its villagers home through the Nether.

Event ASMP S1 12 Jul 2021

One of the first big outings of Axolotl SMP Season 1 happened on 2021-07-12. prop pinged kira and GrimWatch with the news that he had “made 2 wide bridge to village in nether” 1. The village, a plains settlement at about -1300 ~ 500, became Plains Village and Nether Bridge.

The group stripped it for emeralds, beds and hay, then began moving villagers home by boat through the Nether. Prop was not enthusiastic: “transferring 2 villagers thru nether is gonna be a pain” 2. Back at base they set up a mini trading hall, the seed of the later Veteran Villager Trading Hall.

The trades paid off immediately. kira counted “48 ems” for prop 3 and “57 ems” for himself 4 in the same session. The raid came on the very day the The Veterans were first founded (The Veteran Club Is Founded).
