Veteran Villager Trading Hall

The Veterans' private villager trading hall, built by prop and kira and called the best on the server, so big it made the Veteran Base count as a village.

Place ASMP S1 build

“welcome to our private villager trading hall,” prop told the server on 17 July 2021 1. It stood in the Veteran Base and was built by prop and kira. Its librarians sold Fortune 3, Mending, Unbreaking 3, Efficiency 5, Sharpness 5 and Silk Touch, and armourer, cleric, fletcher and cartographer villagers filled out the rest. “see the books galore,” said prop 2.

The hall was laid out for use: emerald trades on the left, item trades on the right, and a zombie nearby for cured-villager discounts 3. The librarians were double-cured, and prop sold enchanted books for diamonds through a chest in the hall 4. He later added a permanent ender chest 5. The tricks that made it possible are collected in Villager Trading Tricks.

By October prop described the pair as the founders of “the best villager trading hall in the entire server” 6, and the October farms list called it the Mega Villager Trading Hall, “owned by veterans” 7. Its size caused trouble. Kart used it “without permission from veterans at all” 8, and because the hall made the area count as a village, a raid started at the base on 6 October 9.

When the The Copenheimer Grief struck on 27 October, the hall was recorded as damaged, and Kart marvelled at “how they got so much tnt in such short notice” 10. In November prop was still listing it as “Me and Kira’s Villager trading hall” 11.
