The first big build of Season 3 began on 7 June 2024, when prop announced he was “planning to make castle base” and placed blocks to mark out the region. 1 Building proper started on 27 June with “it has begun”, and after a day of work, “first 2 floors done”. 2 3
On 28 June he declared that “the complete exterior of the fort is done” and posted the tour. 4 nYx and Kart were around for the show. The finished place is described under prop's Castle.
The tour
The fort has:
- a throne room with a gallery above it, and a basement underneath;
- a soldiers’ layer above the throne room, with a path to the entry balcony;
- a royal suite with a high ceiling and its own private loo, topped by the “elytra hole”, which doubles as its wooden roof;
- machicolations on the top layer and tiny, carefully placed archer slits that make it hard to shoot back from outside.
Work continued afterwards: on 2 July prop wrote “castle done”, and on 15 July he reported “done with almost all of the exterior (only main entrance door thing is left)”. 5 6 The chat is not fully clear whether the wall work counts as part of the same project.
