In ASMP Earth, where everyone could claim a piece of the real world, prop took the biggest and emptiest slice of it. In June 2023 he announced he was “claiming antartica entirely”. 1 It stayed his home for the whole Earth season, and the nation it became is described on its own page as Antarctica.

The land itself was a flat, treeless snowfield. prop’s answer was colonisation: “i am colonzing anartica” 2, with saplings he admitted to stealing from unclaimed regions. 3 Snow was an ongoing problem, as a fresh layer returned everywhere every time it rained. 4
