Omen joined in the server’s first week. He asked to be whitelisted on 13 July 2021 as Omen_49 1; on Discord he went by SPODERMYAN, and his old Minecraft name had been ungabunga 2. He was a friend of DeathHack127, and a jungle settler. His “chocolate house” stood near 129, -172 3.
The Monkes
On 14 July he and DeathHack announced that they were “creating the monkes together stronk alliance” 4. This was the founding of the Monke Alliance, and its jungle base (Monke Base) is where Omen built a storage room and asked for space for an axolotl farm 5. He named his pet axolotl Laffy, who was “resurrected” with some fanfare on 16 July 6, and posted a cyan axolotl for everyone to admire 7. He also died a lot: drowning, creepers, lava, and fall damage that the server logged as “Omen_49 hit the ground too hard” 8.
The raid
On 15 July he wandered into prop’s base carrying Bad Omen and announced “i started a raid” 9. The Veterans declared war on the Monkes that very week, and in prop’s chronicle it was the server’s first devastating raid, set off when Omen “randomly wandered into the veteran base with bad omen” 10.
Caught
That same day he admitted to x-raying: “guilty as charged” 11. kira destroyed his diamonds but let him keep his iron 12. He killed his axolotl, said “goodbye” 13, then returned and apologised. In the chronicle he ends as “omen left (banned for hacking)” 14.
Afterwards
He kept turning up. On 17 November 2021 SPODERMYAN announced “hecker is back” and promised to play when 1.18 arrived, “if im not banned lol” 15. In 2022 Kart kept pinging him by accident when he mistyped prop’s name 16. As late as 2024 he turned up in a chat about the old days, when the group was telling stories about the monke base, the first raid and the x-ray 17.
