“Cry obs” was an older server or community that some of the Season 1 players had come from. In July 2021, when suspicion fell on Omen_49 and Levi, prop said “he came in cry obs” 1 and argued that anyone from there was likely a cheater, “because in cry obs everyone cheated” 2. Levi’s reply was that everyone from Crying Obsidian was already here 3.
It had a happier afterlife. In September 2021, while setting up an Aternos server, prop “accidentally recreated crying obsidian” 4. nYx began to reminisce: “cry obs man” 5, “pogtopia was op” 6. Prop recalled “that jungle biome” 7.
The chat suggests Crying Obsidian was an earlier world the group played before Axolotl, with a Pogtopia base, but the sources do not say more.
