On 2 October 2021 prop looked back over Season 1 and described a stretch in the middle that everyone later called the dead period. It took place around August 2021. His own account is simple: “i lost motivation in the middle”. 1
While prop was away, kira and DeathHack127 carried on. In prop’s words, they “grinded and built a gold farm”, 2 then started a guardian farm. DeathHack also built his own separate trading hall and base somewhere else, since Omen (Omen_49) had left, banned for hacking. 3
prop came back to help them, then left again for the same reason. After that, “everyobody left and server died”. 4 The server was not switched on for a long time.
The dead period remains a useful reminder of how much the server depended on one person’s enthusiasm. When prop stopped playing, everything stopped.
