Not everything the friends played was Minecraft. By August 2022 prop had a world going in Scrap Mechanic, a different game from Minecraft, started to see the latest updates. By September he was amused at what it had become: “the world i randomly started for checking out the new updates in the game became a full fledged survival world” 1, with kira and Fili in it, and later Hayan and nYx. The game’s recurring props were Big Red, haybots, totebots, level 5 thrusters and the Spudling gun.
The mechanic everybody remembers was crop tiers. Tier one is “the usual shit that u get from any normal loot chest” 2, but higher tiers risk a visit from “the big reds”, the Farmbots, who spawn to demolish your farm 3. Tier 3 crops draw earlier and heavier raids, and his farm reportedly counted as two because it sat on a chunk border. Prop could plant 60 crops at a time 4, and he was planning to survive “many many tier 3 raids” to earn the Spudling gun 5.
The best discovery came in October 2022: a baguette that could be fed to a dead player to bring them back 6, which prop compared to Sage’s ultimate in Valorant (see The Valorant Era).
