The perimeter crew were the players prop pulled into his biggest Axolotl SMP Season 1 project, a mega Nether base about 5k blocks from the Veteran Base; see The Perimeter for the build itself. The line-up shifted as the plan did. Different messages name Suresh (BotFragx), IRIS (abi) and Kart as members, but the idea was always the same: “4 quadrants” 1, one for each player, plus shared farms.
prop asked the four of them to come up with a name for their alliance while planning mass fire-resistance potions 2, and later spoke of “our group”, “regrettably” including Kart 3 4. Kart was a controversial member. He had been left off the owner list of the Omega Guardian XP Farm in prop’s farm census 5, though he later insisted that the farm was only for “me suresh prop and iris” 6. Members enjoyed Kart’s netherite discount 7, and on 20 November, after the earlier Discord episode, prop asked the others whether they were fine with banning Kart from the project 8.
The crew’s work lives on in The Perimeter Squad Forms, The Nether Perimeter Push and Inauguration of the Perimeter Project.
