Super Smelter

The Super Smelter was prop’s automatic smelting array, fuelled by the Bamboo Farm. kira was its intended customer, and on 29 September he “cries in lack of super smelter”. ¹ By 5 October prop was “doing all the work to get the supersmelter completed for you”, and on the sixth he posted a warning: “yall dont mess with the super smelter”. ^{2 3}

Building it was a fight. On 7 October prop noted that Shulkercraft had released a better version “right when i complete the one i built”. ⁴ The next day he reported that “supersmelter almost works”: the fuel delivery system functioned, but the bamboo wasn’t arriving fast enough. ^{5 6} A second smelter was already on the drawing board, needing “a lot of fuel”. ⁷

On 13 October prop called the bamboo farm and smelter “both failed projects” and planned to take them down (see The Bamboo Farm and Super Smelter Teardown). ⁸ Even so, the chat suggests it was running again by 18 October, when Suresh’s screenshots showed “super smelter full flow”. ⁹ A beacon stood behind it, which prop said looked like “some mega power source powering the facility”. ¹⁰

IRIS still counted it in March 2022, listing “super smelter prop made” alongside other farms. ¹¹
