Cuba

On ASMP Earth, each friend ruled a nation. prop had Antarctica, and kira had Cuba (see also the group page, Cuba). kira arrived in July 2023 (“ive made it to cuba”) and soon had a bed, a crafting table and some natural crops, plus a discovery nearby in the Bermuda Triangle: an axolotl spawner. ^{1 2}

By his own description the base was barebones, with bees and a fuel factory still planned. What it did have was style. There was a “pixel perfect” runway, and a tree with a redstone light that blinks at night, which prop called “insane redstone technology for a tree light”. ³ Heavy clear-cutting had left trees floating in the air. ⁴ kira, naturally, asked whether prop had noticed his lighthouse tree. ⁵ prop had come to deliver kira’s plane and gear after a 13 km flight (Airdrop to Cuba).

Farms and bees

By August the farm side had grown into a semi-manual redstone potato and wheat farm with mangrove roots, plus a bee breeder and a swamp. “its semi manual”, kira admitted. ⁶ Then a piglin turned up inside the bee breeder, to kira’s bewilderment. ⁷ The Nether-roof portal above it was saved as the waypoint “Cuba Roof”.
