Season 1 had no written rules (Season 1's 'No Rules' Policy), but it did have a hardware limit. The server ran on kira’s own machine (The Server on Kira's Home Connection), so anything likely to eat CPU needed his approval first.
The classic case was the stacking raid farm, a design promising 200k emeralds an hour. kira’s answer was blunt: “server will die” 1. He made prop personally responsible: “if server catches on fire youre responsible” 2. prop took the lesson, saying “im asking the ultra laggy shit to kira before hand” 3. kira’s view of farm failures was that the CPU was simply too weak 4. See No Stacking Raid Farms.
The same logic ruled out other builds. prop summed it up as “items = lag” 5. kira turned down water-stream item transport and map-art plugins (“already having mspt spikes, hell no” 6), and item frames were held to about 16 per map wall.
