The Discord is born

Every museum has an opening day. On 26 April 2021, prop explained why he had made the Discord:

we dont have a proper shit for this server so made a discord server for this

¹ The server in question was the Origins SMP, which had no proper place to chat. The Discord became that place, and, in time, the home of everything in this museum.

The first conversation was about origins, as is only right. Prop took dragon; his brother was “blaze born” ²; Necro (nYx) took wither; “abi is anarchid” ³, meaning arachnid; and BotFragx went blazeborn with the explorer class. Fili turned up soon after to ask for the server address, which BotFragx supplied ⁴.

Nothing about the day looked historic. It was a handful of friends choosing powers on a small modded server. The channel they made that afternoon outlasted that server and every one that followed.
