Osaka Castle Build Week

Over the last week of 2021, RJ, Suresh and nYx pushed a huge Osaka Castle recreation forward, built from an eight-part tutorial.

In the last week of December 2021 the Osaka Castle site became a full-time job. RJ was working from a multi-part video tutorial, and he pointed out that it came to “8 parts including interior”. 1 2

rj, Suresh and nYx set about collecting the materials: quartz with fortune, acacia logs, and black wool for the roof. Along the way they corrected slab-versus-plank mistakes and finished the lighting. On 28 December rj posted a triumphant “THIS IS OUR NEW BUILDING”. 3

Suresh was already looking past the castle. On the 29th he worked out the arithmetic for a netherite beacon, writing out 4*9*(121+81+49+25+9), which comes to 10,260 ancient debris. 4 Kart and IRIS are also listed among the people around the build.
