On 18 November 2021, kira noticed something wrong with his gold farm at the Veteran Base. Roughly six double chests of nuggets were missing. The culprits, it turned out, were abi, Suresh and nYx, who had been AFK-ing at the farm and taking what it made.
kira confronted them in public: “why did you take gold from my farm without permission?” 1. His warning to everyone was the line that gave the event its name:
just dont think the server is communist 2
Then he turned to prop with a more serious thought: “btw prop I think we might have to enforce some rules. I don’t like em but might have to” 3.
prop was lenient. He agreed to excuse past takings, since the server had not yet had an economy, and the conversation began to turn towards rules for one 4. Two days later, he announced the first of them in Shopping District Rules Announced. The gold farm itself has its own page, kira's Gold Farm.
