First Nether Portal Opens in Antarctica

prop lit the first nether portal on the Earth map and filmed it as lost research footage.

Event ASMP Earth 13 Jul 2023

On 13 July 2023, prop began “Log #1 of the portal project” 1, and the server bot soon announced that he had earned We Need to Go Deeper for building, lighting and entering a nether portal 2. Prop’s own reaction to the other side was brief: “HOLY FUCKING SHIT” 3.

The first portal on the Earth map had dropped him beside a Nether fortress and a bastion remnant, a spot nYx said looked like a whole civilisation. Prop kept the footage in character. He cut the replay-mod recording into a VHS-style video titled “RESTRICTED_dimensional_rift_13-07-23”, and then announced that the footage was now “lost” 4.
