ASMP Earth was a world of nations and embassies, and on 27 June 2023 it got its press. prop had knocked together an “Axolotl News” icon in MS Paint (kira noticed it at once 1), and nYx answered with genuine-looking news graphics, then posted the official template for the Axolotl News with the logo credited to prop 2 3.
The polished bulletin was convincing enough that the two decided to go further. News items would be posted as short announcements in the international news channel, and then collected into a proper paper: “and then every week we have a newspaper kinda thing” 4, “every sunday we will make a newspaper” 5.
A week later, on 3 July, prop added a white stroke to the “Axolotl Live” text under the logo so it would work on any background.
The paper became the voice of the world’s diplomacy and drama, and the stage for items like kira's State Visit to Antarctica. See Axolotl News and International News.
