Trial Chambers arrived in Season 3 with the 1.21 upgrade. On 1 July 2024 prop posted two waypoints for them in chat and announced that “trial chamber did generate” 1 2. He was the first to step inside, earning Minecraft: Trial(s) Edition 3.
Prop also built an entrance to match a cave and a tile, and stumbled around the interior on that first look. He called the entrance “pog ass”.
The proper group run was postponed several times. It finally happened on 5 July, when kira stepped in and unlocked an Ominous Vault with an Ominous Trial Key (Revaulting) 4 5. The chamber was cleared by prop, kira and nYx together (see First Trial Chamber Cleared).
Five days later prop asked if anyone minded him harvesting the copper blocks from “that trial chamber we completed” 6. The chamber’s copper was fair game from then on.
