The tree farm was a plan before it was a build. On 21 October 2021, prop noted the farm would need an automatic bonemeal feed 1, and IRIS added that it would need honey blocks as well 2.
Kart drew up the shopping list on 13 November: melon blocks, slime and honey blocks, sticky pistons, observers, hoppers and more 3. Abi supplied everything except the dead coral and honey, and Kart asked how they would get the rest of the honey 4.
Once built, the farm ate bonemeal. On 5 December abi told prop that the farm used more than the melon farms did 5, and the next day declared a “bonemeal crisis” 6. The farm shared a site with a temporary egg farm, and abi reported eight double chests of eggs for a wither rose farm 7. See also Wither Rose Farm.
