When Limbo was recreated in late October 2023, prop picked an island, announced “ima just settle here” and set about flattening everything 1. It became his home for the world’s whole life, and what the group called its hub: “my base becomes the hub yet again”, prop said, and Kart agreed it was “the central hub of the server” 2 3.
Power and style
Everything ran on Create-mod machinery. prop explained that “there is 18 big water wheels and 1 max windmill powering every single thing inside the base” 4. Early on a Create elevator with scroll-wheel floor selection went in 5, and the base’s cobble was swapped for granite at abishek’s suggestion 6. prop added the mega windmill, and IRIS (abishek) made the decoration for the windmill and the top of the base 7.
The farms
By March 2024 prop could “provide infinite” cobble, iron, wood, potato, wheat, bread, kelp, train track, water and lava, “and lag (fix W.I.P)” 8. The iron came from a factory in an anvil-shaped building 9, and a “HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE elevator” ran down to bedrock 10 (see Prop's Giga Cobble Farm Works). Later came an XP farm storing liquid experience, with 88 buckets banked by 20 April 11, and four spawners underneath 12. A one-off machine also dug a perfectly circular mining hole 13 14.
The end
Limbo was wound down in April 2024, and prop destroyed his base himself with a lava cast on 2024-04-26. As the lava fell he feared for his dog and horse (“my dog and horse are going to die” 15) and missed saving the honey farm: “fuck i missed the honeyfarm”, then “fuck this house” 16 17. Afterwards he noted “no backups too” 18 (The Lava Cast, ASMP Limbo Ends).
