On 7 July 2021 prop noted that ancient debris can spawn at random in a basalt generator 1 and then showed off a “passsive netherite farm” 2 built on exactly that, with everything fed from one generator 3. He reckoned it gave about 4 scrap every 20 to 25 minutes, so “imagine we leave this running and forget it exists and come back to find tons” 4.
Mechanical belts handle the smelting, and gold nuggets are turned into ingots automatically. prop later optimised the design down to three energy sources.
