In Axolotl SMP Season 2, nYx set up on “the rain border” near spawn 1. He had “got my shit planned out” 2, and the plan was an island of his own.
He terraformed it heavily. Stone was swapped for dirt, and savannah and plains patches were added so the island stayed free of rain. The plan called for a house, a farm, stables and a nether portal, with a route towards a spruce forest nearby. The base sits at about -130 64 305; prop marked it on the BlueMap as MYX ISLAND 3.
The island was linked to prop’s and Saitama’s bases by a bridge, and nYx insisted on designing that himself: “since it directly connects to my island” 4. From prop’s base entrance there was soon “direct line of sight” to the MYX ISLAND 5.
It became the middle of the settlement. Akshay noted that nYx’s base was at -100 300 and his own at 0 300 6. Others built nearby, which led to the spacing dispute told in Kart's Base Crowding Dispute. prop’s view of the matter was “nyx is literally the central hub in all this he aint moving” 7.
