Guardian XP Farm

An ocean monument XP farm built without draining the monument, which broke once and let guardians loose on RJ and abishek.

Place ASMP Earth farm

In August 2023 prop and IRIS set about turning an ocean monument on ASMP Earth into an instant guardian XP farm, without draining the monument. IRIS shared a video of the design on 27 August 1, and the monument’s waypoint went into chat at 4802 63 7280. 2

The same day prop set up an outpost right outside the “guardian temple thingy” 3, plus a secondary underground outpost, a roof elevator at 4752 7327 4 and a nether portal linked by a 256-block glass path.

The breakout

On 15 September the farm broke. “And guardians fllowed out,” IRIS said. 5 The server log recorded that DumbassRJ was slain by a guardian 6, and abishek was killed by a guardian using magic. 7 Once the damage was fixed, abishek reported that it “works perfectly now”. 8
