Unshelter Me

To be “sheltered” was to have prop restrict your access on Discord. In early December 2021, BotFragx asked Kart whether he had been sheltered, and prop confirmed it was deliberate:

i decided it best if i shelter him during classes ¹

Kart did not take it quietly. The next day he was pinging prop with “un shelter me”, followed by a long, wailing “NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” ². The plea became a running gag through the rest of the month: “unshelter me” on 10 December ³, a bare “unshelter” on 23 December ⁴, and a typo-ridden “unsheltjr me” on Christmas Eve ⁵.

The chat does not spell out exactly what the shelter was. It was most likely a Discord role or permission, much like the “ded role” that hid general chat. Either way, it gave the Axolotl SMP Season 1 chat one of its most repeatable jokes.
