If something on the server broke, the friends’ first suspect was usually Kart.
The reputation was earned early. In July 2021 Kart announced “MADE TRIPWIRE DUPE” 1 and a day later suggested that carpet and rail dupes were possible too. 2 By September prop was telling him that this was the only legit survival server he had played on without cheats, and that “even in this you almost got banned for duping”. 3
prop’s December 2021 character sheet for Kart is the definitive entry: he rated him “innocent and lethally dangerous”, a player who breaks everyone’s stuff and is usually the cause of the server’s problems. It added that he was obsessed with his hole, the way BadBoyHalo is obsessed with the egg. 4
The joke became policy in June 2022. When prop posted the loose “no plans, just go for it” rules for Axolotl SMP Season 2, he tucked a personal clause in the brackets:
kart u will be banned this time if u start duping no more warning for you 5
