On 2021-11-24 prop rebuilt the nether-roof portals around Veteran Base so that they linked properly 1, and built a Shulker Farm. With a lone shulker in place (“shulkerboy joined the game”, announced the chat bridge 2) he switched it on. The shulker teleported through a portal into the killing system and died. prop’s report:

“fuck this” 4, he added, and quit the project.
Then came the mourning. prop changed his profile picture, status and role colour and explained to the server only that “the shulker died” 5. He then asked, “on an unrelated note”, whether anyone had five stacks of gunpowder or a stack of TNT 6, to blow up his own emptied house. abi refused, Suresh guessed he was blasting the shulker farm, and kira reached a verdict:
