The Lava Spawn Trap

On 9 April 2023 prop logged in just to try a shaderpack. The server announced the rest: “💀 ProPlayerPlayz tried to swim in lava” ¹.

The lava belonged to a box near spawn that kira had built to taunt prop, and then forgotten about (Lava trap by spawn). Prop lost diamond armour and tools, his backpack, a copper tank, lots of wood, and his mining machine with two stacks of drills and about 16 double chests. By his count that was roughly twelve hours of work. His first reaction in chat was three words: “i lost everything” ².

Prop vented, kira apologised and offered to repay him, and prop said he would not start a war the way Kart would. The backpack did turn up again, but the mining machine was gone.
