On 2024-04-24 prop had a plan for the day, and he announced it in the Discord bridge with “witherfight today” 1. That was the day he took on the Wither in ASMP Limbo.
The question was how to fight it. DeathHack127 chimed in that he had once fought a Wither while flying with rockets in his own survival world 2. prop dismissed the idea: “elytra + wither is a bad idea for effeciency” 3. He chose the safer approach instead: “so ima just do the long tunnel technique” 4. prop explained that the Wither flies slightly above the level of its target. He fought it with a ping of about 1000.
The chat records the result as a run of advancements. First came Withering Heights 5. Then came Bring Home the Beacon when he built the beacon 6, followed by Beaconator once it was running at full power.
The beacon was not an end in itself. prop used it to craft a Tempad, which gave him For All Time. Always. 7. He called the Tempad godly. After that he turned to planning the dragon fight.
