Planning the train yard with nYx

Prop asked nYx how to wire a four-track train yard into a global railway line, and argued with the answer.

On 2 April 2024 prop asked how to connect a train yard with just four service tracks to a global railway line 1. nYx suggested one lane for incoming and exiting 2 and two for maintenance and storage 3, then cross-connecting all four to those two 4, with a single signal. Prop countered that the yard was only a parking spot and there would never be more than five trains. It followed First Train Assembled.
