The Nether Roof Is Breached

After installing a portal datapack, prop broke through to the Nether roof and linked a portal there, calling it the Biggest Breakthrough.

Event ASMP Earth 22 Jul 2023

On 22 July 2023 prop announced “ima add that portal datapack” 1 and set out for the Nether roof. After breaking through the bedrock he linked a portal there. Then came the cheers: “FUCK YEA” 2, “Nether Roof Link is Complete!” and “Biggest Breakthrough” 3.

It was also a rescue. kira had been stranded at his own roof portal, and prop told him so: “you are stranded” 4, having forgotten flint and steel. Prop measured the portal range at 257 blocks instead of the usual 128. Non-standard portals started working after a server restart on 23 July.
