On 20 July 2023, prop posted what may be the most dignified villager listing in the history of the trade channel on ASMP Earth: “2 Librarian Villagers for adoption”, lecterns included 1.
The two candidates were:
- Morbius I, who offered Mending books for 32 emeralds each.
- Samuel I, who offered Silk Touch books for 18 emeralds each.
The adoption fee for the pair was five stacks of logs of any overworld wood, plus two diamonds, with a stern note that otherwise “The Villagers will be euthanized” 1. Two days later prop announced “Price updated” 2, and on 25 August he closed the book on the whole affair with “trade deal closed” 3.
The sources do not say who adopted them.
