On 31 July 2021 Kart collected enough ancient debris to finish a full set of netherite, and the server chat lit up with the proof. The relay bot logged him completing Cover Me in Debris, then reaching the goal Beaconator and making the Bring Home the Beacon advancement in quick succession 1 2 3.
He posted a screenshot captioned “Netherite bros” 4, followed by another of himself in the new armour with a single, capitalised caption:
NETHERITE BROSS 5
It looked like an ordinary flex, but prop was quick to explain why it mattered. This was, he said, “the first time he got full netherite withouting using cheats”, and so “a big deal for him” 6 7. Kart himself carried on showing off, asking another player whether they had “played as much as me?” alongside a shot of his gear and prized items 8.
A small moment, but a proud one: this was a set Kart had actually earned.
