It began on 2021-10-12 with prop announcing “i found an actual horse lol” 1. Within minutes he had worked out that “we can actually breed the donky and horse togehter” 2, and prop bred a horse with a donkey to get a mule.
What followed was a race. prop and Suresh ran a horse race around the bases, including abi’s house and prop’s own. After that prop decided nobody should be left on foot and made horses “for everyone on the server” 3. One casualty of the mass distribution: Suresh accidentally logged out while sitting on prop’s diamond-armoured horse.
The next day the whole server was out riding, and the horses got names. Suresh’s black horse was called Maddy (“Maddy is my horse”) 4, and Kart’s mule became steven the Speed Demon. prop later wished he had been recording the whole thing: “randomly almost entire server messing around with horses” 5.
It was not entirely peaceful. The chat log records that prop was slain by Suresh 6, and the price was steep:

Kart was caught in the same friendly fire. It was a good day for Axolotl SMP Season 1, in which nearly everyone was mounted and messing around together.
