The Create Together server had been running for a week non-stop, as kira pointed out on 5 July 2021 1, and the lag showed. After a restart cleared it, the economy woke up. IRIS and prop worked their villager trading hall for maximum enchants and set a famously simple price: “every enchant ment is one diamond” 2. IRIS sold Kart four Protection IV books, a Fortune III and a Silk Touch for six diamonds 3. (The preceding haggling is told in The mending 'scam'.)
The currency question was less settled. prop and IRIS argued over whether to buy the villagers’ wares with emeralds, burning stacks of stone hoes along the way (“dai stone hoe da” 4), or with stacks of coal.
Then came the results. On 6 July prop posted a picture of the prize: full Protection 4, Unbreaking 3, Mending diamond armour 5, “shit ton of emeralds”, and a Looting 3, Unbreaking 3, Mending sword 6. He promptly traded with Kart and IRIS for beds and more Prot 4.
