On 9 July 2022, at the tent outpost the group called the Warden Camp, prop set up a flag and told everyone what it meant: “this is a flag of alliance”. 1 Beside it sat a chest of cookies. The rules were printed in his own words: “by eating the cookie we agree to not backstab sabotage each other in this adventure and will be allies and help each other”. 2
It was an anarchy server, so the vow was entirely voluntary and entirely unenforceable, which was part of the charm. ntize (as _eb), Kart and Emperor Sian ate theirs. Saitama, playing as Akshay7432, did not, and admitted it in chat: “i didn’t eat the cookie kek”. 3 kira, watching on a free-camera mod, joked that he would “make a bun alliance” instead.
The cookie vow is remembered more for its rules lawyering than for any lasting peace. The group went on to the feuds and raids that defined Season 2. See also Cookie vow for the tradition itself.
