Breaking Bedrock to the Wither Skeleton Fortress

On 25 September 2021 prop and Kart set out to open up a nether fortress for a Wither Skeleton Farm. The way in was blocked by the Nether’s bedrock roof, so they broke through it. prop pinged kira with the news: “bedrock broken for wither skele farm fortress access”. ¹

A world-border mishap meant the old portals no longer lined up. prop and kira’s solution was to relink them by blowing the old ones up as they went through: “now we explod this portal while going through”. ² A moment later: “yup its gone now”. ³

They passed through the veteran base and tested the farm. kira’s note was brief: “wither skeleton farm”. ⁴ According to the lore readers’ record, it worked immediately, produced dozens of wither skeletons and many skulls, and needed Steve to keep the Nether loaded.
