Axolotl Just Died

On 16 November 2025 kira delivered the news in three words: “axolotl just died” ¹. The machine that hosts the server at his place had gone down, and he could do nothing until someone at home woke up and rebooted it ². Then came a power shutdown, then several days in which nobody remembered to bring it back.

For prop, the timing was cruel. He had, by his own account, only wanted to build “one very normal house made of oak planks” in Axolotl Create Season 3. Instead the bridge kept announcing “Server has started”, and he kept failing to connect. By 20 November he was reduced to complaining that kira was dangling the server in front of him “like a carrot to a pig” ³.

The false alarms were the worst of it. On the night of the 21st the bot cheerfully posted the start message while the server still would not let him in, and prop posted the screenshot with a one-line verdict ⁴.

An hour later kira confirmed it was online again, with the port forwarding also fixed ⁵. It is a textbook case of the The Server on Kira's Home Connection era, when the world lived and died with one machine in one house.
