The Iron Factory was a Create iron farm built by prop with abi on Limbo in late November 2023. It turned stone into iron on its own: cobblestone was crushed twice into gravel, washed into nuggets and ingots, buffered in item vaults, and shut off automatically at 90 percent capacity. 1
Power came from four windmills (“we need 4 windmills for it of course”) of 128 sails each, which prop reckoned would “give us enough power”. 2 3 By 29 November abi was already counting “300 blocks of iron”, 4 and by 5 December the factory had made almost 4,000 iron blocks.
The machinery was working long before it was pretty. Prop only finished the building around it, an anvil-shaped hall, on 11 February 2024: “Completed the building for Iron Factory… complex shit too”. 5 6
In April 2024 it was one of the first stops on the tour prop gave a newcomer (DeathHack127 Joins the Create Server).
