On 7 August 2022, _eb announced a success in capital letters: “THE FROG LIGHT FARM IS A SUCCESS” 1. Frogs eat magma cubes, and the result is froglights, so the farm herds both on the Nether roof, a short trip from the roof portal. It sat near -325 250, as part of a bigger cluster of roof farms for iron, food, mobs, ghasts and hoglins 2.
To collect, players climbed the scaffolding to the top and went AFK, using two rockets and good aim to get there. The next day _eb cleared 1,700 items from the farm in twenty minutes 3, and put its yield at “5000 froglighst per hour” in all three colours 4. He offered the farm to prop and DeathHack.
It was a fragile machine. On 10 August he asked whether anyone had used it, because he was missing two brown, three white and one green frog 5 6. He repaired it after the escape. The lore notes record that Sian later copied the farm’s floor design. See also Frog Light Farm Completed for the event.
