The Desert Portal stood in the desert beside The Perimeter, at -1822, 71, 1957 in the overworld, and prop marked it in chat as a waypoint 1. It was the third of the diagonal “zig zag” portals leading to the Nether roof.
Prop gave it a sandstone design: “nether roof one portal with sandstone will e there” 2, signed off as “courtesy of yours truely prop” 3.
It was a landmark for those flying the roof. RJ died up there about 5,000 blocks from the perimeter portal, after flying until his rocket stack ran out 4.
