One of the first projects of Season 3, this was prop’s “easy” iron farm for the The Cherry Village: six villagers, one captured zombie and a tutorial video. 1 He posted “project complete” on 5 June 2024. 2
It worked at once (“iron farm works”) 3 and ran overnight, overflowing a single large chest. The catch: “only 600 iron per hour”. 4 On the first day the chat suggests the zombie had to be raised a block. A few days later prop told IRIS the chest was about to overflow, so feel free to use the iron. 5
Then it broke. By 8 June prop was complaining about “an iron farm that broke almost immediately”. 6 He rebuilt it on 2 July, calling it “a terribly slow farm”, 7 and it broke again until 14 July, when he announced “i fixed the iron farm finnally”. 8 The cure required a debug stick, to force a bugged bed to behave. 9 By then he had 10 stacks of iron.
