kira's garbled message turned out to be the Dvorak layout, which led to a typing-speed contest.

Curiosity ASMP S1 in-joke

On 2 October 2021 kira posted a nonsense word, “tdaj”, then explained it by linking the Wikipedia page for the Dvorak keyboard layout, the one he types on. 1 2

prop replied with a painfully hand-encoded Dvorak sentence. 3 That turned into a typing-speed contest: kira put himself at “around 75-80” words per minute, with grim at about 69. 4
